Twitch Bids Farewell to BibleThump Emote
Twitch has announced the retirement of its popular BibleThump emote, effective September 30th. The emote, which has been a staple for expressing sadness on the platform since 2013, originates from The Binding of Isaac game.
I'm 100% fine with coming up with a good solution to keep or modify the emote.
Creator Edmund McMillen has expressed willingness to find a solution, but the decision ultimately rests with Twitch. The platform's recent cost-cutting measures and profitability concerns may be influencing factors in this decision.
